Job summary

Insmed is seeking a Field Access Manager to support patient access to prescribed therapies in a field-based role. You will leverage reimbursement expertise to address patient-specific barriers and collaborate with Field Access, Market Access, and healthcare providers to ensure timely access to treatments.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, knowledge of payer policies, and willingness to travel up to 75% across multistate geographies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of reimbursement and patient access experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with HCP offices preferred.
• Experience navigating payer reimbursement processes (Medicare Part D preferred).
• Travel up to 75% may be required across large multistate geography.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with Patient Support Services, Field Sales, Channel Management, and Market Access teams to support patient access.
• Educate HCP office staff on prior authorization, appeals, submission procedures and reauthorization requirements; travel to HCP offices as needed.
• Identify and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues within assigned geography.
• Provide reimbursement expertise to the patient support services team for the assigned plans.
• Maintain up-to-date repository of plan-specific reimbursement criteria and submission procedures.
• Ensure compliance with reimbursement support policy and engagement rules.
