Construction Material Testing is seeking a detail-oriented 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners on concrete, piping, and steel projects. You will capture on site, process in Artec Studio, and deliver scan-to-CAD files and reports that clients can act on.

You must have hands-on experience with handheld scanners (Artec Leo, Eva, Space Spider or equivalent), CAD reading, and the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating handheld 3D scanners on real projects.
• Working knowledge of Artec Studio or similar software for mesh processing.
• Ability to read structural/fabrication drawings and CAD files.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans at construction sites.
• Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL/OBJ/E57 and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps and coordinate reports against drawings.
• Build scan-to-CAD solids for reverse engineering and fit-up checks.
• Document capture procedures, equipment settings, and chain of custody.
• Coordinate access, permits, and safety with site contacts and travel as needed.
