Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners, process data on-site, and deliver scan-to-CAD outputs for various projects. You will work on concrete pours, structural assessments, and plant inspections while traveling to regional hubs as needed.

The role requires experience with Artec Studio, CAD reading, and the ability to work on active construction sites with safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a handheld 3D scanner on real projects.
• Experience with Artec Studio for mesh cleanup and export.
• Familiar with CAD drawings and reading structural/fabrication drawings.
• Able to work on active construction sites and lift equipment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute handheld scans of rebar, embeds, and structures before concrete pours.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL/OBJ/E57/CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps and measurement reports against drawings.
• Travel to regional hubs as assigned.
• Coordinate access, permits, and safety with site contacts.
