White Mountain Cable Construction is hiring a Fiber Splicer II to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecom network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot circuits, and ensure high-quality connections that meet industry standards.

The role requires at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground cable upgrades and splicing.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot networks post-installation.
• Ensure splices meet customer and industry standards.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
• Document daily work and material usage in reports.
