Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II to fuse optical fibers and maintain our growing telecom network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test circuits, and ensure connections meet industry standards.

We offer weekly pay, PTO/holidays, 401(k) with company match, education reimbursement, and more. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Able to pass a DOT medical exam.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers as needed.
• Provide guidance to other splicers and complete basic daily vehicle maintenance.
