Job summary

White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II to complete fiber fusion and support telecommunications networks. You will upgrade and splice cables aerially and subterraneanly, test and troubleshoot post-installation circuits, and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Lead and support fellow splicers while maintaining documentation and safety protocols. Qualified candidates have at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to

Qualifications

• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot circuit post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
• Document work through daily production reports and map updates.
