Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Fiber Splicer II to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecom network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test circuits, and ensure high standards while supporting a growing system.

The role requires two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. On-site work with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot network circuits post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers for entry.
• Document work in daily production reports and update maps.
