White Mountain Cable Construction is seeking a Fiber Splicer II to fuse optical fibers for our telecommunications network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot circuits, and maintain documentation of daily work and materials.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with a good record. DOT medical clearance is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with relevant work experience.
• At least two years of fiber splicing experience (per job listing).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Document work performed through daily production reports and maps.
