Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle suitable for representing the company with insurance meeting state requirements.
• Strong dependability and punctuality.
• Sharp attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, sit, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid computer proficiency including Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan your route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with significant windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes and watch for risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets and maps to anticipate digging activity.
• Provide first-level issue mitigation and escalation when needed.
• Log changes in infrastructure along the route and communicate with stakeholders.
• Respond to network outages as required.
• Verify work quality and compliance with SOW on-site.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
