Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking an outdoors-oriented Construction Coordinator to manage a fiber route on a daily basis. You will receive assignments, drive the route, monitor existing fiber paths, review 811 locate tickets and maps, and address minor issues in the field to prevent outages.

You will work independently in all weather, documenting actions and communicating with clients and contractors. Compensation includes $28–$34/hour plus potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Dependability and ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Comfort with outdoor work in all weather conditions and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid computer proficiency for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan routes.
• Drive assigned fiber routes with extensive windshield time.
• Visit and monitor routes to prevent outages or risks.
• Review locate tickets and maps to stay ahead of digging activities.
• Provide first-level field support and escalate changes in infrastructure.
• Log changes and verify quality and adherence to scope of work.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
