Responsibilities include splicing enclosures, fiber slicing, fusion splicing, testing, and documenting test results, while coordinating crew schedules and maintaining equipment throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Installation of fiber splice enclosures.
• Onsite plant fiber optic cable slicing including loose tube and ribbon fiber.
• Fusion splicing.
• Unidirectional and bidirectional fiber testing.
• Light level testing, OLTS.
• Fiber troubleshooting and repair, test report generation.
• Coordinate daily crew activities and work schedule.
• Maintain a safe and quality work site and location.
• Maintain fiber equipment and tools.
• Daily inspection of all equipment assigned to crew.
• Maintain daily production rates.
• Ensure work is conducted in a safe manner and according to company safety and OSHA practices.
