Job summary

Hyper Networks LLC is seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to maintain and install fiber across indoor and outdoor routes. You will work under the Fiber Manager, handling splicing, testing, and documentation for accurate as-built records.

The role requires climbing, working outdoors in various weather, and adherence to ANSI/EIA/TIA standards while delivering quality workmanship and safety. Valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fiber optic theory including loss and connector types.
• Full knowledge of operating fiber optic splicing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans, document daily records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install fiber in inside and outside plant environments.
• splice fibers from ladder and test turn-ups of subscriber drops.
• Ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
