Mortenson is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to provide skilled craftsmanship for maintenance and installation of low voltage electrical systems. You will assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, cabinets, and pathway infrastructure across projects.

Responsibilities include fusion splicing fiber, performing fiber testing with OTDR and power meters, reading prints, and documenting work per company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma completed.
• Ability to read plans and understand specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain low voltage wiring and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Install structured cabling components, cabinets, and pathway systems per plans.
• Perform fusion splicing and fiber testing to ensure signal integrity.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures in daily work.
