Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is seeking a Business Field Technician to install and repair residential and commercial services, delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will use RF, EPON, fiber, Ethernet, and WiFi tools to diagnose, repair, and optimize signals on customer premises.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 3+ months of customer service experience, and physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work from ladders, and endure all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver’s license in the state you are applying.
• Able to lift to 80 lbs, climb a ladder, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Troubleshoot reception performance issues using electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer’s premises.
• Educate customers on using new or existing equipment and suggest service upgrades.
