Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Moreno Valley, CA to support service order and repair activity on fiber network facilities from the customer- serving terminal to the customer premises.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining fiber equipment, configuring routers and set-top boxes, activating ONT, and interfacing with customers to ensure satisfaction. Valid CA driver’s license required and physical ability requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Installs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Interacts with customers to install and train on equipment and ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures routers and set top boxes.
• Activates the ONT and handles inside wiring.
• Interacts with customers to negotiate equipment placement and training.
• Interprets schematic work orders and procures required equipment.
• Uses test equipment to analyze equipment trouble.
