Job summary

Frontier Communications Corporation is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Chatsworth, CA to handle installation and maintenance of fiber services from the customer-serving terminal to the premises. You will install routers, set top boxes, and coordinate with the Fiber Solution Center to ensure seamless service.

The role requires a valid CA driver’s license, color and auditory accuracy, and the ability to work with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California class "C" driver's license.
• Ability to perceive color differences.
• Ability to distinguish audible tones/levels.
• Must pass criminal records check and be fingerprinted.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures routers and set top boxes; assists with PC software configuration.
• Interacts with customers, ensuring satisfaction and performing follow-up as needed.
• Interprets work orders, orders equipment, and maintains proper documentation.
