Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician to service and repair fiber networks in the Pomona, CA area. You will handle installation, configuration, and testing of voice, data, and video services from the customer terminal to the premises.

Responsibilities include installing routers and set-top boxes, wiring, and ensuring customer satisfaction while following company policies. A California Class C license and reliability in field work are required.

Qualifications

• Valid California class C driver's license required.
• Experience in fiber/network installation or telecom field preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and use test equipment.
• Color vision and ability to distinguish audible tones.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services between customer terminal and premises.
• Installs routers, set top boxes and may assist with PC software setup.
• Maintains outside and inside fiber equipment and activates ONT.
• Interfaces with customers to place equipment and train users on new services.
