Job summary

Frontier Communications Corporation in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician to perform installation, maintenance and repair of fiber network facilities from the customer-serving terminal to the premises, including voice/data/video equipment.

You will configure routers/set-top boxes, test equipment, and coordinate with the Fiber Solution Center; must meet safety standards and pass background checks. Requires valid CA Class C license and ability to lift up to 275 pounds.

Qualifications

• Tests – Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by the Company.
• Experience: Fiber Network field technician or equivalent telecommunications experience within 10 years.
• Must possess valid California class C driver’s license and ability to operate vehicle with manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs/configures routers and set-top boxes; may assist with PC software installation and customer training.
• Interacts with customers to place equipment and ensure satisfaction; provides follow‑up.
