Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Menifee, CA to support service orders and repairs over fiber facilities from the customer terminal to the premises. You will install and maintain voice, data, and video equipment, and help customers understand and use new services.

Responsibilities include configuring routers, renovating inside wiring, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Fiber network experience or work history in telecom field.
• California driver’s license (class C) required.
• Experience with network installation and service activation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot fiber network services.
• Install and configure routers and set top boxes; assist with PC software as needed.
• Install inside and outside fiber equipment and perform activation of the ONT.
• Interface with customers to place equipment and train on new services.
• Order and obtain required equipment and perform follow-up with customers.
