Job summary

Ripple Fiber is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair our fiber equipment at customer sites in Gastonia, NC. You will ensure high-quality service and minimal downtime while following company standards.

This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to use hand tools and mobile devices, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will collaborate with customers to connect their home or business networks to Ripple Fiber.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to operate hand tools and handheld mobile devices.
• Experience in customer service, construction, electrical or related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Ripple Fiber equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
• Manage last mile, in-home and business networks.
• Troubleshoot using network performance tools and fault-find to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Assist with escalations (2nd line support) to resolve end-user issues.
• Assist customers in connecting home or business devices to the Ripple Fiber network.
