Ripple Fiber is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for their equipment in North Carolina. The role involves managing network connections, resolving customer complaints, and setting up broadband services.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate hand tools and handheld mobile devices.
• Experience in customer service, construction, electrical, or technical field is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
• Knowledge of cable color identification.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Ripple Fiber equipment.
• Manage last-mile network connections and equipment.
• Fault-find and resolve customer complaints.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues.
• Assist with escalations to resolve end-user issues.
• Install broadband services and smart-home devices.
• Set up in-home and business networks.
• Help customers connect devices to the network.
