Job summary

Ripple Fiber is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair equipment across customer sites in the Indian Trail area. You will ensure high-level service and hands-on support for home and business networks, including Wi‑Fi and smart devices.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to operate hand tools and handheld devices.
• Experience in customer service, construction, electrical, or related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage last mile drop and in-home or business equipment.
• Fault finding to resolve complaints.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Use monitoring tools to troubleshoot problem areas.
• Assist with escalations to resolve end-user issues.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and install broadband services like Wi‑Fi routers and smart home devices.
• Route fiber optic drops from termination box to router location.
• Set up home and business networks for clients.
• Help customers connect their devices to the Ripple Fiber network.
