Job summary

Ripple Fiber in Lexington, SC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair equipment for customers in the Lexington area. The role emphasizes delivering high levels of customer service while ensuring network performance and reliability.

The candidate will handle last mile fiber installations, troubleshooting, and on-site support, with duties including documenting networks and assisting customers with connecting devices to the Ripple Fiber network.

Qualifications

• Requires valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience in customer service, construction, electrical, technical or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Ripple Fiber equipment per customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot network issues using monitoring tools and fault finding.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Assist with escalations (2nd line support) to resolve end user issues.
• Configure, maintain and install broadband services (Wi‑Fi routers, smart home devices).
• Route fiber drop cables from termination box to router location.
• Assist customers in connecting home devices to Ripple Fiber network.
