Job summary

Ripple Fiber is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our growing team in Longmont, CO. You will install, maintain, and repair Ripple Fiber equipment to meet customer requirements and company standards, ensuring the highest level of service.

This role involves physical work, driving a company vehicle, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. You will troubleshoot, document network changes, and educate customers on services provided.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to operate hand tools and handheld devices.
• Experience in customer service, construction, electrical, or technical field.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work available.
• Willingness to lift up to 60 lbs and work in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Ripple Fiber equipment per customer requirements and company standards.
• Ensure customers receive the highest level of service.
• Manage last mile drop and in-home/business equipment.
• Troubleshoot using network performance tools and fault-find.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Assist with escalations to resolve end-user issues.
• Educate customers on features and functionality of services.
• Verify all services are operational and demonstrated to customers.
• Perform installations in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Drive a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.
