Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. (Kinetic) seeks a line worker to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits across multiple projects. You will operate bucket trucks, climb poles, and perform underground work in various environments with safety as a priority.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, travel up to 50%, and on-call rotations. You will follow design specs and participate in safety trainings to protect crew and the public.

Qualifications

• Ability to use construction equipment to complete installations (digger derricks, bucket trucks, backhoes, trenchers).
• Pole climbing certification required.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license; DOT pre-hire certification.
• Available for 50% travel and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables; interpret blueprints and staking sheets.
• Install aerial and underground cables; test and locate faults.
• Set up service for customers and verify equipment operation.
• Access work areas using bucket trucks, poles, ladders, or trenches.
• Lay underground cable in trenches or conduits; pull cables as needed.
• Read design engineer instructions and ensure safety procedures.
