Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a line worker to install, repair, and maintain poles and cables, including aerial and underground work. You will operate bucket trucks, climb poles, and work in various conditions, with travel up to 50% and overtime as needed.

The role emphasizes safety and adherence to DOT requirements, with weekends and holidays possible. Previous experience with telecom infrastructure and testing equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, repairing and maintaining poles, cables and conduits.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks and climb poles.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and travel up to 50%.
• Must pass DOT pre-hire requirements and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain poles and cables; interpret blueprints and staking sheets.
• Install aerial cables and inspect lines for faults.
• Set up service for customers by installing and testing equipment.
• Operate equipment and follow safety procedures on job sites.
• Prepare engineering field notes and read design instructions.
