Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Construction Technician-Line Worker to join our Kinetic unit in the field. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining poles and cables, both aerial and underground, with heavy equipment and safety protocols.

Travel up to half the year is required, including weekends and overtime. You will work in various weather conditions and contribute to network buildouts across markets.

Qualifications

• 1 year outside plant construction experience incl. poles and buried/aerial cable
• Trade School certification can substitute one year experience
• Ability to lift/pull up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles.
• Install aerial cables and set up service for customers.
• Measure signal strength at poles with test equipment.
• Inspect lines and locate faults or malfunctions.
