Job summary

Uniti's Kinetic unit seeks a field line worker to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits and to run fiber optic and copper lines both aerially and underground. The role requires route safety, manual dexterity, and the ability to work from bucket trucks and at heights.

Travel up to 50% and overtime are expected in this safety-sensitive position. You will interpret blueprints, set up customer service, read test results, and ensure quality workmanship while adhering to industry

Qualifications

• Pole climbing certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables.
• Set up service for customers and test equipment.
• Work from bucket trucks or by climbing poles to string lines.
• Read blueprints and follow design engineers’ instructions.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete paperwork accurately.
