Job summary

Uniti's Kinetic unit seeks a field technician to install, repair, and maintain poles and cables, both aerial and underground. You will set up service for customers and operate equipment. Travel up to 50% and overtime may be required; safety and DOT compliance are emphasized.

Candidates should have pole climbing capability, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in various conditions. CDL readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment such as digger derricks and bucket trucks.
• Pole climbing certification or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work on-call/on overtime as required.
• Comfort working in all weather and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables and set up service for customers.
• Install aerial fibers and copper; inspect lines and locate faults.
• Operate bucket trucks or climb poles to install equipment and run fiber/copper.
• Follow safety procedures; participate in required safety meetings and DOT inspections.
