Job summary

Uniti's Kinetic division is seeking a line worker to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits, both aerial and underground. The role involves operating bucket trucks, climbing poles, and following safety procedures across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include setting up customer service connections, reading blueprints, preparing field notes, and ensuring all DOT and RUS standards are met. You may work weekends and overtime, with substantial travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a variety of construction equipment to complete installations.
• Pole climbing certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT pre-hire screening.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must work in all weather conditions and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables as required.
• Set up service by installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks and climb poles to string lines and install equipment.
• Read blueprints and staking sheets; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Prepare field notes and document labor and materials accurately.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with DOT and RUS standards.
