Ezee Fiber is seeking a skilled Field Technician I, focusing on residential fiber services and activation at customer premises. You will install and test fiber, configure CPE, and ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires physical outdoor work, strong communication, and a willingness to learn new fiber technologies, with opportunities for growth within the field operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fiber optics certifications are a plus.
• 6 months to 2 years experience or training in fiber splicing and troubleshooting.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber services at customer homes, including termination, splicing, and testing.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
• Manage work orders, meet SLAs, and document job details.
• Perform splicing and identify faults using fiber loss testing.
• Maintain inventory of tools and fiber components.
• Provide professional service and educate customers on fiber technology.
