Job summary

Forged Fiber seeks an advanced-level installer to perform in-home fiber installation and service tasks for residential and small business customers. The role involves communicating with customers, explaining installation steps, and ensuring reliable connectivity on approved modems/routers.

Must be able to work outdoors, pass background screening, and meet safety requirements. Prior fiber experience is preferred but not required, with a typical 5-day schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to climb and work at elevations exceeding 18 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home installation and service work for consumer and small business customers (ONT, gateways, Ethernet, etc.).
• Test, turn up, and maintain outside/inside plant and equipment.
• Interact with customers professionally on-site and by phone.
