Job summary

Ezee Fiber is hiring a Field Operations Technician for Enterprise & SMB fiber services. You will install and activate DIA, Ethernet, and managed services, perform splicing and testing, and configure CPE, routers, and VoIP gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fiber optics certs a plus.
• 6–24 months of experience in fiber optics or field ops.
• Knowledge of fiber splicing, OTDR testing, Ethernet, VoIP, and network diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate enterprise fiber services (DIA, Ethernet).
• Perform fiber splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and support CPE, routers, switches, and VoIP gear.
• Complete DIA and managed service installations; verify service quality with test gear.
• Troubleshoot outages and coordinate with NOC, Engineering, and Support.
• Maintain accurate work orders, docs, and test results; educate customers on services.
