United Fiber in Smithville, MO is seeking a full-time Broadband Service Technician to install fiber internet, TV, and phone services at customer homes. You will troubleshoot issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–12 months entry-level experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of consumer electronics (routers, TV, phones).
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• First-aid and CPR knowledge.
• Missouri Class E driver’s license.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand/walk for prolonged periods.
• Trade school training/certification preferred; wiring experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber fast internet, TV, and phone systems in customer homes.
• Troubleshoot customer questions and issues during installation.
• Provide proactive customer service and maintain satisfaction.
