Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a claims specialist to manage FHA home retention claims, file timely, and ensure compliance with investor, insurer, CMS guidelines. The approved starting hourly rate is $23-$26/hour.

The role includes preparing HUD claims, reconciling proceeds, posting updates within 24 hours, and maintaining audit files. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and file all HUD claims timely and accurately according to guidelines.
• Follow up on all outstanding claim proceeds semi-daily.
• Perform loan-level reconciliation of final claim proceeds.
• Provide posting instructions within 24 hours of receipt.
• Review and ensure timely completion of scheduled steps.
• Input completion dates when actions occur.
• Obtain approvals and adjust dates if steps cannot be completed.
• Perform routine daily follow-up.
• Inform supervisor of trends and problems such as denials or delays.
• Document servicing actions, delays, and conversations in system notes.
• Image claim documents timely and maintain HUD audit file.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
