Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO is hiring a Festival Coordinator, Ride Shares on a full-time, temporary basis for the Sundance Film Festival. The role is onsite in a hybrid capacity at the Boulder office from Nov 11, 2026 to Feb 12, 2027, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required to meet deadlines.

Main duties include implementing the ride-share plan, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining clear communications with the team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in event transportation, production, operations, or related.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a MVR background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to move up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to drive in winter road conditions.
• Knowledge of the Boulder, CO area is helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Knowledge of FileMaker Pro or other relational databases preferred
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the ride-share plan.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain items outlined in the plan.
• Help set up and tear down barricades at all pick-up/drop-off locations in Boulder.
• Serve as department liaison during onsite vendor meetings.
• Communicate issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate signage needs for ride-share locations.
• Create spreadsheets to capture data for historical use.
• Collaborate on transportation timeline and stay on schedule.
• Update the ride-share plan with changes during the Festival.
• Collect daily ride-share data and prepare daily reports.
• Validate locations and ensure operations run as planned.
