Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO is seeking a Festival Coordinator, Event Venue to help plan and operate the festival venue with a hands‑on role across setup, on‑site management, and teardown. You will liaise with owners, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive attendee experience.

The role is full‑time during the festival window (40 hours/week) from Oct 14, 2026 to Feb 19, 2027, based in our Boulder office with hybrid onsite work.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience coordinating events, production logistics, or assisting with venue operations.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with high‑level donors, artists, and guests.
• Strong customer support, calm under pressure, and meticulous organization.
• Working knowledge of Airtable and Google Workspace.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and maintain discretion with attendee information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and operation of the Sundance Festival event venue.
• Coordinate with venue owners, managers, vendors, contractors, and staff.
• Support budget tracking, asset management, and day‑to‑day venue logistics.
• Provide hands‑on setup, control crowd flow, and post‑event wrap activities.
• Support Beverage team and supervision of seasonal volunteers and staff.
