Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO is seeking a Festival Coordinator, Lounges to join the Venue Operations team. The role opens and closes the venue and provides support to stakeholders during the Sundance Film Festival. This temporary, full-time position requires onsite hybrid work.

Hours are 40 per week, from Nov 11 2026 to Feb 12 2027, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include coordinating setup/teardown, updating lounge plans, liaising with internal teams, and

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 2 years experience in venue, event operations or related.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR background check.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate set-up, teardown, equipment and signage needs by deadlines.
• Plan and communicate venue needs to internal stakeholders.
• Update lounge Visios, maps and timelines.
• Schedule meetings with internal stakeholders to review needs.
• Collaborate with events team on venue needs beyond standard operations.
• Create a 'How-to' document for venue use.
• Create a photo gallery of the space pre- and post-Festival.
• Provide daily operational support, including walkthroughs, snow removal, cleanup, opening and closing.
• Assist vendors and movers with deliveries and pickups as necessary.
