Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO, is seeking a Festival Coordinator, Ride Shares to support transportation logistics for the Sundance Film Festival. Working under the Festival Manager, Transportation, the coordinator helps implement the ride-share plan, coordinates with vendors, sets up barricades, and serves as liaison during onsite meetings.

This temporary, full-time role runs November 11, 2026 to February 12, 2027, with hybrid onsite work from our Boulder office.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in event transportation, production, operations, or related.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of an MVR background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to move up to 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to drive in winter road conditions.
• Knowledge of the Boulder, CO area is helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Knowledge of FileMaker Pro or other relational databases preferred
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the ride-share plan.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain items outlined in the implementation plan.
• Help the manager set up and tear down barricades at pickup/drop-off locations in Boulder.
• Serve as department liaison during onsite vendor meetings.
• Communicate issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate signage needs for ride-share locations.
• Create spreadsheets to capture data for historical use.
• Collaborate on the transportation timeline to ensure tasks are included.
• Support the manager in staying on schedule and meeting deadlines.
• Update the ride-share plan with changes during the Festival.
• Collect daily ride-share data and include in daily report.
• Validate locations to confirm they run as planned.
• Gather pick-up/drop-off data for future years.
• Assist the manager with other assigned projects and prepare a comprehensive wrap report.
