Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists is seeking a full-time Financial Coordinator in Seattle to guide patients through billing, insurance benefits, and treatment costs. The role integrates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate financial obligations.

The candidate will educate patients on coverage, collect payments, and maintain detailed ledgers while supporting the patient journey from their first contact through treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and medical billing including copays, coinsurance and deductibles.
• Strong technical aptitude with standard office software and EMR/Practice Management systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Manage cycle status and financially clear patients for treatment.
• Send payment reminders to patients.
• Provide costs and out-of-pocket estimates for services.
• Educate patients about insurance coverage, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to resolve financial questions.
• Maintain patient accounts and process payments and credits.
• Ensure pre-authorization and pre-payments before appointments.
• Assist with referrals and predeterminations as needed.
• Respond to inquiries within 48 hours via portal or email.
