Job summary

Central Farm Service in the United States is seeking a delivery driver responsible for accurate and efficient feed deliveries to destinations listed on feed orders. The role emphasizes maintaining customer relations and adhering to DOT and CSA standards.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical certification, and insurability. A one-year relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. CFS offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate delivery of feed to destinations on the feed order
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries
• Comply with federal/state DOT regulations and CSA scores
• Follow safety policies and observe traffic and OSHA regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance
• Keep equipment clean and in good operational appearance
• Represent the company professionally in actions and appearance
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
