Job summary

Central Farm Service is hiring a professional delivery driver to provide accurate and efficient feed deliveries to the destination indicated on the feed order. The role requires maintaining a valid Class A or B CDL, staying DOT medical compliant, and upholding company safety and insurability standards while serving customers with professionalism and punctuality.

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Maintain required DOT medical certification.
• Maintain insurability requirements per insurance guidelines.
• One year of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.

• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent CSA scores.
• Follow safety policies and observe traffic laws and OSHA regulations.

• Maintain equipment in operational and clean appearance at all times.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
