Job summary

CFS is seeking a delivery driver to provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed. You will represent the company professionally and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a safety-first approach.

Responsibilities include facilitating pre-trip inspections, complying with DOT regulations, and supporting a positive customer experience. Applicants should have a CDL, DOT medical card, and at least one year of delivery experience or an equivalent background.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and DOT medical card required.
• One year of relevant delivery experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed accurately and promptly to destinations listed in orders.
• Maintain positive customer relations during deliveries.
• Comply with DOT regulations and safety standards to support CSA scores.
• Follow safety policies, observe traffic laws, and ensure safe operation.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance items.
• Keep equipment clean and presentable; represent CFS professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations.
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores.
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification.
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines.
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
