Job summary

Central Farm Service in Minnesota is seeking a team member to provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to customers, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, DOT medical certification, insurability, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to destination on order.
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards (CSA focus).
• Follow safety policies and traffic/OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean and presentable; represent company professionally.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
