Job summary

Central Farm Service (CFS) seeks a delivery driver in Hayfield, MN to provide accurate and efficient feed deliveries to customer orders. This role requires a Class A or B CDL and DOT medical certification, with emphasis on safe driving and professional customer interactions.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain CSA scores, and represent CFS with integrity. A strong benefits package accompanies this full-time position, including retirement plans and health coverage.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required or equivalent with clean driving record.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Insurability per company guidelines.
• At least 1 year delivery/related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination on the order.
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and strive for excellent CSA scores.
• Follow safety policies, traffic laws, and OSHA regulations during operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
