Job summary

Central Farm Service in Minnesota is seeking a delivery driver to provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to customer locations in coordination with the team.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical certification, insurability, and at least one year of relevant experience; you will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain safe driving practices, and uphold professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• CDL required with valid license.
• Maintain DOT medical certification.
• Maintain insurability per insurance guidelines.
• One year of relevant delivery experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to destinations on assigned orders.
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Comply with DOT regulations and safety standards (CSA).
• Follow safety policies, observe traffic laws and OSHA safety rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition.
• Represent Central Farm Service professionally at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
