Job summary

Central Farm Service (CFS) is seeking a team member to efficiently deliver feed to customers in Minnesota. You will provide accurate deliveries according to feed orders and maintain professional customer relations.

Responsibilities include complying with DOT regulations, maintaining safety policies, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keeping equipment clean, and representing CFS professionally. Benefits include comprehensive health, life, disability, PTO, pension, and retirement

• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Comply with federal and state DOT regulations and strive for excellent CSA scores.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and observe traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance items.
• Keep equipment in good operational and clean condition.
• Represent CFS professionally in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
