Qualifications

• Proven claims adjusting experience and extensive leadership experience within a claim operation.
• Specialist knowledge of Defense Base Act claims is preferred.
• Strong leadership in direction setting, change management, and talent development.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical expertise in one or more claim functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Claims Examiners on the Federal WC Claims team.
• Direct activities in alignment with AIG Claims goals and Best Claim Practices.
• Ensure appropriate reserve setting, payments, and recoveries per guidelines.
• Develop training, mentoring and career development for the team.
