Qualifications

• Proven claims adjusting experience and extensive leadership in a claim operation.
• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation claim handling.
• Defense Base Act knowledge preferred.
• Leadership, change management, and people development skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Claims Examiners on the Federal WC Claims team.
• Direct claim handling in accordance with policy and best practices.
• Oversee reserving, payments, expenses, and recoveries of claims.
• Drive training and career development to increase bench strength.
