Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects for federal agencies across the United States. You will oversee planning, design, and construction support, ensuring successful delivery from inception through closeout.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
7 years related experience.
At least 2 years project management experience.
Ability to interact with design teams and strong communication skills.
Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and oversee all phases of complex projects from planning through construction closeout.
Manage multiple concurrent projects with alignment to client objectives, budget, and schedules.
Build and maintain relationships with federal and military clients as trusted advisor.
Support business development activities including marketing, proposals, contracts, and pursuits.
Coordinate resources and staffing across disciplines to ensure successful delivery.
Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
Lead and mentor project teams and staff development initiatives.
Monitor project financial performance and accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and profitability.
